Neil Stiles is the Principal of Rivendell Associates Limited, a management consultancy company that he formed after his retirement from the Deloitte New Zealand Partnership in September 2001, after 28 years with the International firm.

Neil now provides and offers distinctive services grounded on being a trusted advisor, facilitator, mentor and coach, to organisations and individuals. Over many years he has grown and developed expertise that is a unique blend of a broad range of deep skills and experience. His specific areas of competency are:

• External financial advisor to PHARMAC and the Leadership Development Centre
• Member of the Ministry of Health Audit, Finance & Risk Committee
• Member of the Advisory Boards of Medsafe and National Radiation Laboratory Business units
• Chair of PSAAP, the national committee composed of representatives from the Ministry of Health, DHBs, and GPNZ, that negotiate and agree changes to the national contract for Primary Health Care
• Facilitation of Leadership, Management and Professional Services Excellence training courses in Asia for Deloitte
• Facilitation of various strategic retreats
• Facilitation of team development using diagnostic instruments with a particular focus on Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
